Back in 2014 when “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was coming out, Théoden Janes from The Charlotte Observer came to my then apartment to do a feature on my “Planet of the Apes” collection. Don’t have the room anymore and most of my treasures are in storage as I moved, but you get an idea of my obsession! Enjoy!

I was honored to be asked to paint the background walls for the exhibit “Never Abandon Imagination: The Fantastical Art of Tony DiTerlizzi”. The murals were designed by Exhibit Designer Hannah Crowell, inspired by Mr. DiTerlizzi’s work and we worked together to fine tune the look. Vinyl images of his illustrations were applied to the painted walls.
The exhibit runs through November 3, 2019 at the Mint Museum on Randolph Road in Charlotte.
